High-quality wood, solid weight, manufactured well. This is the only knife tray I could find that fit perfectly in my small kitchen drawer. Unlike some other trays, the advertised dimensions are true. The only downside is Amazon has been skimping on packaging materials lately; this is the second wood item I've purchased in a row that was inadequately protected. However, the wood is hard so it survived without a scratch. And if it didn't, Amazon has an excellent no-hassle exchange policy.
